Tino is the Worlds First Stamp Artist and creator of the Stamp Art medium. He did this while taking a break from his corporate career at the Hewlett Packard company in 2001. Tino established the movement of Stamp Art using postage stamps as paint as a showcase when returning to his corporate role with the Hewlett Packard Digital Printing Solutions center in Barcelona. Today Tino leads the Artist world in producing contemporary, modern and fine art styles into Artworks using postage stamps as paint for viewers to appreciate the interesting world of postage stamps.
The DPRK 450th Anniversary of Antonio Correggio Stamp Artworks by Tino, are created using original 1983 DPRK Thematic Postage Stamps taken from the anniversary sheet depicting the paintings of the Madonna with Child by Antonio Correggio (circa 1516).
Tino presents the DPRK Artwork Project ‘A’ with a focus of the use of Light & Emotion inspired by the way Antonio Correggio painted his original works. The artworks are presented in a composition of four different artwork styles from the same theme to give a different Light & Emotion choice for the collector.
This is a very interesting and highly collectable set of 16 artworks featuring the Madonna with Child artworks by Antonio Correggio using the 183 Official Postal Stamp Issue panes by the DPR Korea. These Stamp Panes include the title of the ‘alien painting’ The Madonna with Saint Giovannino widely attributed to the Italian Renaissance painter Domenico Ghirlandaio but published as a Antonio Correggio Painting. This unidentified Postage Stamp error which is included with each of the sets of four styles of Artworks by Tino are highly sought after by collectors due to their listing in the Stanley Gibbons under N2370 with a catalog value of around £174.00 while the true value is yet to be listed.
