Tino is the Worlds First Stamp Artist and creator of the Stamp Art medium. He did this while taking a break from his corporate career at the Hewlett Packard company in 2001. Tino established the movement of Stamp Art using postage stamps as paint as a showcase when returning to his corporate role with the Hewlett Packard Digital Printing Solutions center in Barcelona. Today Tino leads the Artist world in producing contemporary, modern and fine art styles into Artworks using postage stamps as paint for viewers and collectors to appreciate the interesting world of postage stamps.
To celebrate the Saudi National Day 2025 and the “Pride in Our Nature” theme, showcasing the Kingdom’s cultural renaissance and global vision including the launch of the Riyadh Metro, Tino has produced a collection of 27 Artworks from his 2004 ‘Hearts of Arabia’ project, created from postage stamps of the Kingdom to complement the 95th National Day in Saudi with a special focus on the ‘Arabic’ meanings of ‘Love’.
The varieties of contemporary artwork styles used are presented with nine separate meanings of love for collectors to choose from, who are seeking a unique and collectable Arabia Hearts artwork.
All artists have a favourite piece of work they have created and for me it is my work with The ‘Hearts’ project I released in 2004, which stands out in my mind. The project took me two years to create and I remember most, the satisfaction and enjoy it gave me in placing each stamp in a sequence and position by hand, to tell the story of the ‘Hearts of Arabia’ inspired by Harry St. John (Abdullah) Philby’s 1917 journey across Saudi Arabia. While creating the Hearts I learnt quickly how the colours I used changed my emotions for each Heart artwork created. The changing moods of ‘Hearts’ will always be in my mind and in 2025 I released my Hearts of Arbia collection to appeal to viewers and collectors from all over the world to connect the message that the shape of the Heart in artworks, means Love.
