Stamp Art: The DPR Korea ‘History’ project

The Stamp Art showcase of the 1983 DPR Korea miniature sheet of the 450th Anniversary of Antonio Correggio (1489 – 1534). The issue is focussed on the paintings by Antonio Correggio of the ‘Madonna with Child’ works. Presented in Artwork Layouts from which a number of ‘Limited Edition’ artwork prints are for sale in the Stamp Art Gallery Shop. The 450th Anniversary of the death of ‘Antonio CORREGGIO, DPR KOREA – CIRCA 1983: mail stamp printed in a souvenir sheet with reproductions of his paintings, including 4 individual stamps with celebration overprints. Wording on the stamps is mostly in Korean. The 450th Anniversary of the death of ‘Antonio CORREGGIO, DPR KOREA includes an unusual title in the 4th stamp depiciting Correggio’s Madonna and Child with Infant Saint John. The name of the artwork on the stamp is: Madonna with San Giovannino Milano indicating that the title is related to a private commision in Milano or that the title relates to works by artists like Giovanni da Milano (from Milan) that also exist.

Stamp Art: The Monaco Royal Wedding ‘proof’ project

The Stamp Art Monaco 1956 Royal Wedding showcase presents an infomative and educational review of the important and unique marraige of the Hollywood Actress Princess to Prince Rainier III. Presented in Artwork Layouts from which a selected number of ‘Limited Edition’ Fine Artwork prints are available to review and for sale in the Stamp Art Gallery Shop. These attractive stamps showed Prince Rainier III and the beautiful American actress Grace Kelly. Designed by Detaille from a photo by Jules Piel and Gravure printed by B. Minne. They were issued on April 19, 1956. Perf. 13. The wedding of Princess Grace of Monaco and Prince Rainier of Monaco, 1956. It’s been called the wedding of the century. In 1956, Hollywood royalty joined European royalty when Grace Kelly became Princess Grace of Monaco.

Stamp Art: The 1957 Monaco ‘Grace Kelly’ project

The 1957 Monaco Postage Stamp issue featuring Princess Grace Kelly commemorates her marriage to Prince Rainier III and the birth of their daughter, Princess Caroline. These stamps, designed by Czeslaw Slania, were issued in panes of fifty and printed using the intaglio process. The stamp, depicted a left-facing portrait of Princess Grace and is special because it commemorates birth of their daughter, Princess Caroline following the royal wedding stamp issue of Princess Grace (formerly American actress Grace Kelly) and Prince Rainier III of Monaco. Following the issue of the 9 Princess Grace Monaco stamps, the sets of proof stamps of 106 colours were purchased by Robert Baughman, S.P.A. and held in his private collection until they became available at auction, when they were purchased by Tino the Stamp Artist from which Tino has produced an exclusive and limited edition of artworks in colours that have never been seen by the world before and are the exclusive copyright to the artist Tino worldwide, as they have never been released in the public domain.

The showcase presents an infomative and educational review of Liechtenstein Postage Stamp issue which are unique in their display of story telling, presented in Artwork Layouts with a number of ‘Limited Edition’ Fine Artwork prints available for sale in the Stamp Art Gallery Shop. The Latin noun cardo means pivot point, door hinge. The cardinal virtues are those virtues around which all others are ordered. Even in antiquity, virtue was understood to be the ideal of self-education to become an excellent person. The four cardinal virtues are:  Prudentia, Latin, means prudence. Clever means here reason as the basis of human action. He is considered to be smart who can assess himself without illusion and view his situation soberly. The clever person does not suppress his own impermanence either.

The Stamp Art Liechtenstein showcase presents an infomative and educational review of Liechtenstein Postage Stamp issues which are unique in their display of story telling, presented in Artwork Layouts with a number of ‘Limited Edition’ Fine Artwork prints available for sale in the Stamp Art Gallery Shop. Liechtenstein is the smallest country in the world by population and the second smallest by area (after Bermuda) to have won an Olympic gold medal, although San Marino is the smallest country to have won any medal.Athletes from Liechtenstein have won a total of ten medals, all in alpine skiing. It is the only country to have won medals at the Winter, but not Summer, Olympic Games. Liechtenstein has the most medals per capita of any country, with nearly one medal for every 3,600 inhabitants. Seven of its ten medals have been won by members of the same family: siblings Hanni and Andreas Wenzel, and Hanni’s daughter Tina Weirather.
